So much has been happening since my last newsletter, I thought it was about time to catch everyone up!
Threads: We've added a small selection of Silk buttonhole Twist thread, plus some Caron Wildflowers and Waterlilies threads. I'm still hunting for other interesting, new threads!
Our close-out threads are now pictured! The prices are still terrific, so I hope you will go by and take a look - you won't find prices better anywhere.
By the way, the Empress Artsilk Floss is much like the Rajmahal Artsilk Floss if you are familiar with that. It is silk and rayon floss and is very shiny! It looks beautiful on CQ projects.
Fabrics: I've managed to get the fabrics up on the site so you can see them, and buy them by the piece. Many of you had said that other companies required you to buy at least one yard. I have 1/8, fat quarter, and in some cases 1 yard pieces already cut and ready to go, plus some fabrics still on the bolt if you want a larger piece. There is a great variety of Fancy Fabrics you can pick and choose yourself!
Close-out Fabrics: I'm now offering Close-out fabric bundles of pieces of our fancy fabrics cut into 1/16th and some 1/32 yd pieces. These are the same high-quality fabrics listed on the other pages plus more not listed. These pieces are left over from kits - and the prices are discounted up to 40% off their original prices. I have them available in mixed colors, lights, darks and brights, and a white-on-white collection. Don't miss out on these, they are a super great deal!
Notions: I've added a few sizes of needles you may have trouble finding, plus just some regular asst embroidery needles (I always need those!) In addition, I've added two kinds of Inkjet printable fabric sheets by Electric Quilter. I've tried the cotton satin and used the images in my Christmas Ornaments for the Swap! I was really amazed at the quality of the images, the color-fastness of the fabric, and the ease of using these.
I'm also offering to sell pre-printed sheets of six images to those who are interested! I have a large selection of images, and I'm sure together we could put together something you would really enjoy!
BEADS!!! As promised, I've recently received some of your favorite sew-on beads; lentils, tiny flower buttons/beads, Tiny Teardrops, Ivy Leaf Beads in varioius shades of green, plus some of my favorites, Tiny three-sided ovals in lots of pretty colors! I Hope you'll visit the website and see all of these for yourself!
Close-out Beads: Yes, I've decided to keep a lot of our beads on close-out to make room for your favorite sew-ons! These beads are for the most part an even better deal than before! Make sure to click on different beads to see how many are in a package - I've increased the number in many! Most of these beads are close-to or below wholesale at this point - worth taking a look!
Buttons: Have you been by to check out the new buttons? In addition to the Close-out buttons we already have, I've added a page of Mother-of Pearl buttons - which are beautiful! PLUS, a whole collection of Susan Clarke Originals - these are designed just as decorations and are beautiful! I hope you'll stop in to see these - they're great!
AFTER THANKSGIVING SALE!!! The week after Thanksgiving, and for one week only, I will be discounting the new Susan Clarke Originals buttons 25% off their suggested retail prices! This would be a great time to save on some of these really special sew-ons! From November 27- December 3, 2006 - Don't miss it!
This year I participated in the Ornament Swap on Quiltropolis! I'm very excited to get my new ornaments! Did any of you also participate?
Things have been slow here, except for my working to get the website up so you can see everything! I think its starting to take shape - I've looked it over - where else can you buy so many things you love for $1-$3 each in one place? There are great deals and beautiful things now up on the site! I hope you'll come and check them out!
Also please write! I'm still looking for suggestions about what to carry. I'm trying to rebuild ESD into something my customers want it to be - and to do that I really need your input and suggestions! So let me hear from you!
I hope you all have a truly wonderful Thanksgiving! I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Your friend,
