I've been wanting to send this newsletter out for a few days now, to catch you up on what's going on here at Evening Star Designs!
First, I would like to apologize most sincerely for the recent delays. I have been under the weather now for a few weeks, with (at first guess)seems to be a bad reaction to some medication I was taking. The "cure" has been as hard as the ailment, as I have had to take medications that have been making me sleep quite a bit, along with many other uncomfortable side effects that have kept me from working much. An unfocused mind being at the top of the list!
Thank goodness for Sarah! She has stepped up to the plate and has been working very hard to help get us caught up - and very nearly has at this point. For those of you who are still waiting for something, please hang in there - or send an email! We won't let you get lost!
It is sometimes hard for a small business with big dreams to keep up with things when unforseen problems pop up, as this has. I want to thank you all for your patience. I'm hoping very hard that next week will be so much better!

Newbies! I'm so pleased that so many of you are signing up! I've been trying my best to keep up with the sign up, and send you your special numbers! I am behind, as I mentioned. Please don't think you'll have to wait until I get them all sent out though, I have a list, and while it may take me a while to get your Newbie ID# out to you, you can still order right away if you like, simply put "Newbie" in the box when you order, and I'll be able to look you up!
I had hoped to have a few more goodies ready for you by now, but, as you know, I've been delayed. Hang in there - good things are coming!
Remember, if you're a Newbie, there is no time limit to signing up! I hope all of you who find out about our Newbies program will continue to write in!

Everyone! As I mentioned earlier, we've gotten the lovely River Silks up on the site, and they are a wonder! I have kept the prices low so they are comparable to the YLI prices on Ribbon! This ribbon, I feel is far superior, in every way, and comes in so many luscious colors you'll be very pleased I'm sure! The nice people at River Silks helped me put together this initial palette, and as soon as I can get their color rings, I will be filling it out with other colors. To close, I'd like to mention that everyone seems to be enjoying our Flower Fairies Silkies! I have had several suggestions for starting a Flower Fairies Club. There are many of you out there who would like to collect them all, and I was contemplating starting a club for those of you who would like to work on that on a monthly or every-other month basis. The price for a sheet of silkies would be the same as our Spring Sale price,($13.60), whether you opt for the six to a page or four to a page sheet. If any of you are interested, please send me an email with your suggestions on how you think this might work best!
Better yet, if you are interested in this Club, send me an email to that effect, and I'll give you some ideas for ways we could accomodate everyone!
