We’ve been getting lots of calls and emails about our very first Crazy Quilters Club package, which will be called Vegetable Garden, that was due out in July.
The CQ Clubs are hard to get out sometimes because we have to order so many things, and we’ve had problems getting everything in. Also, I’m trying to work this set of instructions in a slightly different format, and a very big component of this package directions will be about the uses of floss versus single-strand threads in embroidered motifs.
It will be a beautiful package, and I’m hoping to get it out very soon!
I also found out that our gorgeous Embellishment Club package didn’t go out in July, as it is missing a few items. Don’t worry, as soon as the items come in, that package will go out as well!
Another new thing we’re hoping to work with is Facebook! We just got a page on Facebook, and for those (like me) who were unfamiliar with it, It’s easy to sign up, and free.
Just go to www.facebook.com and sign up as a member. In the search box, type in Evening Star Designs, click it, then be sure to sign up as a Fan. Fans get automatic updates as we post them on the Evening Star Designs Facebook page. I hope you will sign up as a fan, since you will get up to date news even before I have a chance to write a newsletter.

In addition, a lady in France just bought up all the rest of our Floss Overdyed and our Empress Silk Overdyed. So we will no longer be carrying these items. I will be taking them off the page as soon as I can.
We still have lots of very gorgeous Needle Necessities threads, however, including Perle 5 and Perle 8 Overdyed, Empress Silk in Solid colors, French Wool Overdyed, some Kreinik Overdyed, plus Charleston Thread and Opalescense Thread - gorgeous! Now a new company, ThreadworX has taken up where Needle Necessities left off. They carry colors that NN used to carry plus a lot of great new ones of their own! We will probably start carrying some of their Floss Overdyed soon, but in the meantime, If you’re looking for color charts to help you see what Overdyed colors we have left, be sure to visit www.ThreadworX.com to check up on these colors.
