I developed these instructions and patterns to teach students who were new to embroidery many years ago. It shows diagrams along with instructions for working eight basic embroidery Stitches. Included is a pattern for creating a lovely little drawstring bag from the stitches, and is designed to be worked as a beginner's project for learning them.
This pattern is perfect for people who are new to hand embroidery, and would be wonderful to use when teaching groups of new embroiderers! It would also be a perfect project for teaching groups of younger people who would then have a completed project showing their work!
This pattern is the version I developed for Left-Handed stitchers.
