Harvest Challenge!
Last year we had a very successful Spring Challenge!
With your suggestions, this year we'd like to do a special Harvest Challenge, giving everyone more time to participate!
What is it, and what will you get?
This is not only a Challenge, but a Contest!
Crazy Quilters! There just aren't too many contests just for Crazy Quilting out there!
The Harvest Challenge package will consist of $35.00 worth of beautiful Fancy Fabrics, plus some really beautiful embroidery threads, beads and other CQ Treasures all put together in a Harvest Color Theme - we promise the package will be beautiful!
We need to hear from you by May 22, 2008 in order to make the right amount of packages! They will be sent out in early June.
The rules will be very simple:
1. You will be making a project of your choice with either a perimeter measurement of 60" or 200 square inches - any shape or configuration you please. (Note: Your project can be bigger than this, just not smaller!)
2. Your entry must be Crazy-Patch Pieced,
3. You must use a certain amount of the fabrics, threads and beads, etc. provided in the package (to be further qualified later), to decorate your project.
4. You may add anything to your project that you wish in addition to the items required in the package, and
5. You must send your digital photos, including both close-ups and pictures of the entire piece in to us at ESD no later than October 6, 2008!
This will give you all summer to work on your project, and show us your very best work!
First Prize will be a $75.00 Gift Certificate from Evening Star Designs. Other prizes will also be awarded - also in the form of ESD Gift Certificates!
This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, and get the chance to win a lovely prize as well.
We'll have another Challenge Gallery, and another Viewer's choice award.
